Temporary Lane Closure On I-93 At Exit 3 In Windham Northbound Night Work Beginning January 2 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a temporary lane closure associated with the construction of the new northbound roadway in Windham. This work will take place at night, from Sunday, January 2 through Friday, January 7, 2011. It will require the closure of the high-speed lane on I-93 northbound from the Brookdale Road overpass to just before the Exit 3 ramps. The lane closure will take place between the hours of 7:00 pm and 5:00 am each night. This project is part of the construction of a new I-93 northbound roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. George Cairns of Windham, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $26 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2011.
