The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the planned nighttime closure of the Open Road Tolling (ORT) lanes at the Hampton Toll Plaza on Interstate 95 (Blue Star Turnpike) in Hampton for one night for snow removal work.

This complete ORT lane closure, both northbound and southbound, will be in effect from 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, until 5:00 am on Thursday, December 30 to allow for the removal of snow along the right and left shoulders within the concrete barrier.

During this ORT lane closure period, motorists seeking to use E-ZPass will use the Hampton Toll Plaza where all open lanes will accept E-ZPass. Due to ongoing construction, there will be no designated E-ZPass lanes.

This nighttime ORT lane closure for snow removal work will be needed periodically at the Hampton Tolls following storms with significant snowfall.
