Rollinsford, NH – South Berwick, ME Public Informational Meeting
Planned Roadway And Bridge Improvements On NH Route 4

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in Rollinsford to discuss planned pavement and bridge rehabilitation work on NH Route 4.

This project begins at the Dover/Rollinsford town line and proceeds east approximately 3 miles into South Berwick, Maine. It involves roadway rehabilitation and paving, guardrail replacement, drainage and slope improvements. Additionally, the improvements will include replacement of the concrete deck on the bridge over Salmon Falls River.

The November 30 public meeting will be held at the Rollinsford Town Hall meeting room, 667 Main Street in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, beginning at 7:00 pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
