|Barnstead Public Informational Meeting
Improvements To NH 28/Peacham Road Intersection
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled to discuss the safety improvements at the intersection of NH Route 28 and Peacham Road in Barnstead.
This intersection was one of several studied for improvement within the seven-mile Barnstead-Alton NH 28 project corridor, and was identified as a priority by the two towns.
This meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 6:30 PM at the Barnstead Town Hall, 108 South Barnstead Road, in Barnstead, New Hampshire.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
