| I-93 Lane Closures Between Exits 2 And 3 In Salem And Windham
Construction Of Median Pier Access For The Brookdale Road Bridge Replacement Project Over I-93 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces nighttime lane closures on Interstate 93 near Exit 2 in Salem are scheduled to take place beginning Sunday, November 14 and continuing for approximately two weeks. The lane closures will be on the I-93 northbound and southbound lanes between Exit 2 and Exit 3 to allow for the construction of a median pier access for the replacement of the Brookdale Road Bridge over I-93. Lane closures will be in place for northbound traffic between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am each night. Lane closures for southbound traffic will be in place between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am each night. Motorists using I-93 Northbound and Southbound near Exit 2 in Salem during these nighttime hours can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. No work will take place along I-93 during the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend. This is the period between 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 24 until 1:00 pm on Monday, November 29, 2010. This work is part of the $4.3 million I-93 Brookdale Road Bridge Replacement project. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire. |
