| Night Sign Work On The Spaulding Turnpike In Rochester
Both Directions Between The Rochester Tolls And Exit 12 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night sign work is planned for the upcoming week on the Spaulding Turnpike in Rochester between the Rochester Tolls and Exit 12. Overhead sign structures will be set over the Turnpike starting Thursday, November 5 and continuing through the night of Thursday, November 11. Scheduled work hours will begin at 10:00 pm and continue to approximately 6:00 am. Motorists traveling on the Spaulding Turnpike during these nighttime work hours should expect some delays. Traffic will be limited to a single lane in each direction. State Troopers may stop traffic when the sign structures are moved into place. Message boards and signs will alert traffic to the work zone. Uniformed Officers will direct traffic as needed. S.U.R. Construction, of Rochester, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $17 million Turnpike improvement project, which is scheduled for final completion in June of 2011. |
