The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 to discuss safety improvements to the intersection of NH Route 12, Lake Street and Swanzey Factory Road in Swanzey. Two alternatives, a traffic signal option and a roundabout option, have been developed for consideration.

The November 10 public meeting will take place at 7:00 PM at the Swanzey Town Hall, 620 Old Homestead Highway in Swanzey, New Hampshire.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
