| Northbound Traffic Shift Planned On Spaulding Turnpike
New Northbound Lanes From Rochester Tolls To Beyond Exit 12 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a planned traffic pattern change on the Spaulding Turnpike in Rochester during the week of October 25. Northbound traffic will move to the new northbound lanes, from the Rochester Toll Plaza to beyond Exit 12. The Exit 12 northbound off ramp will also open to traffic on the new bridge over the Cocheco River. The southbound barrel will then be marked for two lanes southbound from Exit 12 to the Rochester Toll Plaza. Message boards, and signs will alert traffic to the work zone. Uniformed Officers will direct traffic as needed during the actual lane shift change. S.U.R. Construction, of Rochester, New Hampshire, continues work on the project, which is scheduled for final completion in June of 2011. |
