The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned daytime closure of St Gaudens Road in Cornish between NH Route 12A and the St. Gaudens Historic Site will occur from Monday, September 13, through Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

This road closure, which will be in place from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily, is necessary to allow replacement of failed drainage cross pipes under St. Gaudens Road. NHDOT District 2 Maintenance forces are performing the work.

Motorists seeking to go to the St. Gaudens historic site will be detoured as follows:

• Passenger cars will be sent right onto Platt Road, right onto Lange Road, and right onto St. Gaudens Road.
• Recreational vehicles and buses will be sent left onto Townhouse Road, left onto Dingleton Hill Road, land left onto St. Gaudens Road.
