| Lane Closures On I-93 Near Exit 2 In Salem And Windham
Construction Of Temporary Access Roads For The Brookdale Road Bridge Replacement Project Over I-93 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces lane closures on Interstate 93 near Exit 2 in Salem are scheduled to take place during the nights of Sunday, August 29 and Monday August 30, 2010. The lane closures will be on the I-93 northbound and southbound lanes between Exit 2 and Exit 3. These lane closures are to allow for the construction of temporary access roads for the Brookdale Road Bridge replacement project over Interstate 93. Weather dependent, lane closures for northbound traffic will be between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM each night. The lane closures for southbound traffic will be between 8:00 PM and 5:00 AM each night. Motorists using I-93 northbound and southbound near Exit 2 in Salem during these nighttime hours can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. This work is part of the $4.3 million I-93 Brookdale Road bridge replacement project. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire. |
