| Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge To Be Temporarily Closed
Due To Traffic Control For Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Festivities In Windsor, Vermont The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge over the Connecticut River between Cornish, NH, and Windsor, VT, will be temporarily closed to all traffic from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2010. This closure is for traffic control purposes in support of the 57th Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl football game and associated activities in Windsor, Vermont. Changeable message signs will be used to advise motorists of the closure. The Cornish and Windsor police departments will provide traffic control. Motorists are advised to utilize NH Route 12 between Claremont, NH, and Ascutney, VT, or Interstate 89 between Lebanon, NH, and Hartford, VT, during the closure period. |
