Walpole-Charlestown Public Hearing Scheduled Proposed Reconstruction of Section of NH Route 12 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a Public Hearing on proposed alternations to a section of NH Route 12 in Walpole and Charlestown, New Hampshire will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010. This project involves the reconstruction of NH Route 12 from Main Street in Walpole to NH Route 12A in Charlestown and includes the removal of the concrete base, adding shoulders and improving drainage. This is a joint public hearing with the New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program. This project is expected to require impacts to properties obtained through the Land and Community Heritage Investment Program. Interested landowners, local officials and highway users are welcome and will be given the opportunity to express their comments relative to the proposed project. The July 29 Public Hearing will be held at the North Walpole Elementary School, at 17 Cray Road in North Walpole, New Hampshire, beginning at 7:00 PM.
