| Lee Public Informational Meeting
Reconstruction Of US 4/NH 125 Intersection (Traffic Circle) The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 to review and discuss the reconstruction of the US Route 4 and NH Route 125 intersection (Lee Traffic Circle) to provide safety improvements. Concepts have been developed to reconfigure the existing traffic circle, which will extend approximately 500 feet on all approaches to the intersection. The July 21 public meeting will be held at the Town of Lee Safety Complex, 20 George Bennett Road in Lee, New Hampshire, beginning at 7:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. This project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
