Preferred Alternative For Replacing I-95 Bridge Over Taylor River
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a Public Informational Meeting will be held Monday, June 21, 2010 to receive input on the resulting preferred alternative from the Feasibility Study to replace the bridge that carries I-95 over the Taylor River, and the replacement or removal of the Taylor River Dam.
The June 21 public meeting will be held at the Hampton Town Offices, 100 Winnacunnet Road, in Hampton, New Hampshire. Doors will open at 6:30 PM for viewing and discussion prior to the presentation at 7:00 PM.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for an informal discussion and exchange of ideas on the preferred alternative as determined by the Feasibility Study that reviewed the bridge replacement options, and replacement or removal options for the Taylor River Dam. This project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
