| Lyme Public Officials/Informational Meeting
Reconstruction of NH 10/East Thetford Rd. Intersection The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2010 to review and discuss a highway safety improvement project in Lyme. This project involves the reconstruction of intersection of NH Route 10 and East Thetford Road to reduce the expanse of pavement, provide traffic calming, and better define the intersection. It begins on NH 10. approximately 150 feet south of the intersection, and extends northerly approximately 300 feet. The project also includes approximately 150 feet of work on East Thetford Road and 100 feet on "On the Common". The June 16 public meeting will be held at the Lyme Town Office Meeting Room, One High Street, in Lyme, New Hampshire, beginning at 7:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
