| Survey Aims To Improve 511 Traveler Information
Feedback Sought As New Hampshire Develops Its Own Service Since 1999, the US Department of Transportation has been advocating a nationwide 511 Traveler Information System to provide motorists with road condition information that will improve safety and mobility. New Hampshire has been at the forefront of this initiative, working with Maine and Vermont in developing and operating a 511 service for the three northern New England states. The NH Department of Transportation (NHDOT) is now developing its own 511 Traveler Information System, and would like those who travel within and through New Hampshire to be a part of the redesign process. To help redevelop and improve the 511 System, the NHDOT is asking motorists to take a short and simple survey on the existing 511. Feedback provided by this survey will contribute to a new optimal design that will provide valuable and effective traveler information for future New Hampshire travelers. To complete the survey, simply visit the NH511 web page at http://www.511nh.com and click on the link that says “511 Traveler Information Survey”. |
