| NH Route 10 Detour In Effect In Orford-Piermont
Due To The Need To Address Unstable Rock Ledge The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that a detour is in effect for NH Route 10 in the towns of Orford and Piermont until early next week due to the need to address unstable rock ledge at the Orford - Piermont town line. Heading north, in Orford, the detour is as follows: The reverse directions for southbound traffic. Bean Brook Road and Grimes Hill Road, both in Orford, are currently posted for 6-ton while Grimes Hill has a 3-ton weight posted bridge. Weight restrictions will be strongly enforced by local police The Department of Transportation's Highway Maintenance District 2 is overseeing the ledge stabilization efforts. |
