| Loudon Road In Concord At Exit 14 To Close For Two Weekends
To Allow For Steel Work And Rehabilitation Of I-93 Bridge The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned closure of Loudon Road in Concord at Exit 14 of Interstate 93 for one weekend in April and one in May to allow for steel work associated with the rehabilitation of the I-93 bridge over Loudon Road. Loudon Road will be closed for 60-hour periods to all through traffic between the northbound on-ramp to I-93 and the southbound on/off ramps to I-93 (the area directly under the I-93 overpass) on the following dates: Friday, April 9, 2010 at 7:00 PM to Monday, April 12 at 7:00 AM These dates are weather dependent. Alternate dates in the event of inclement weather are April 16-19 and May 21-24. No traffic will be allowed under the bridges during the above closure periods. Detour signs will be in place directing traffic to alternate routes. E.D. Swett , of Concord, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $4.5 million project, which has a final completion date of October 15, 2010. |
