| Newington-Dover Public Informational Meeting
Work Associated With The Little Bay Bridge Project The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2010 to present the design of the initial contract that would construct the new Little Bay Bridge, Spaulding Turnpike approach work and Hilton Drive improvements in Newington and Dover. This meeting will also discuss emergency access issues, Wentworth Terrace access restrictions and present an alternate roundabout design for the intersection of U.S. Route 4 /Boston Harbor Road/Spur Road as part of the future Newington-Dover construction contract. The March 16 public meeting will be held at the Dover City Hall Council Chambers, 288 Central Avenue, in Dover, New Hampshire, beginning at 6:30 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment.
