| Steel Girder Work On Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) Project
Beginning February 16 On The Exit 12 Bridge Over NH 125 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the setting This daytime work between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM will affect traffic on NH Route 125. Traffic on Route 125 at Exit 12 will be periodically stopped for up to ten minutes at a time to allow for a girder to be lifted overhead, set on the bridge abutments and secured into place. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays during this work.
This planned work is weather permitting. Message boards, and signs will alert traffic to the work zone, and uniformed Officers and flaggers will direct traffic as needed through the work areas. S.U.R. Construction, of Rochester, New Hampshire is the prime contractor on the project. E.D. Swett Inc., of Concord, New Hampshire is constructing the bridges. |
