Pavement Rehabilitation On 5.6 Miles Of I-93
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting will be held on Monday, November 23, 2009 to discuss the planned rehabilitation of 5.6 miles of Interstate 93 from the Whitehouse Bridge in Lincoln north to Lafayette Brook in Franconia. Also included in the project will be guardrail and drainage improvements.
The November 23 public meeting will be at the Cannon Mountain’s Brookside Building, in Franconia, New Hampshire, beginning at 6:00 PM.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
