|NH Route 121 In Auburn To Be Closed For Three Days
Detour In Place To Allow For Culvert Replacement
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a three-day road closure is planned for a two-mile section of NH Route 121 in Auburn to allow for the replacement of a metal pipe with a pre-cast concrete pipe at the old boat launch at Massabesic Lake.
This closure of NH Route 121 between Hooksett Road and King Street will be in effect from Thursday, November 5 at approximately 7:00 AM until Saturday, November 7 at approximately 6:00 PM. A temporary detour will be in place directing traffic around the road closure. Use by local traffic and emergency services will be allowed up to the pipe location.
The detour includes from the intersection of NH Route 121 with Hooksett Road to the intersection with King Street in Auburn. For NH Route 121 westbound traffic, a temporary detour will include using Hooksett Road north to NH Route 101 Exit 2, NH Route 101 west to Exit 1, south on NH Route 28 By-Pass to the Massabesic Traffic Circle (intersection of NH Route 121 and NH Route 28 By-Pass). For NH Route 121 eastbound traffic, the closure at King Street will allow traffic to turn around and go back to the Massabesic Traffic Circle, north on NH Route 28 By-Pass to NH Route 101 Exit 1, east on NH Route 101 to Exit 2, Hooksett Road.
