| Work To Begin On Reconstruction Of I-89 Exit 20 In Lebanon
Project Will Replace I-89 Bridges And Add Lanes On NH 12A The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the beginning of construction work on the reconstruction of the Exit 20 interchange on Interstate 89 in Lebanon. This project includes the replacement of the I-89 bridges over NH Route 12A, the addition of 2 lanes (from 5 to 7) on NH 12A at the interchange and the construction of a new bridge connecting the Upper Valley shopping plaza with the Kmart shopping plaza. Initial work this fall will involve constructing lanes for traffic shifts. Some bridge work can be expected during the winter months. This project is being funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $20.3 million project, which has a final completion date of October 2012. |
