Nighttime Lane Reductions On Spaulding Turnpike At Exit 15 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that the Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16), at Exit 15, will be reduced to single lane alternating one-way traffic during the nights of Monday, September 21 through Thursday, September 24. Weather dependent, the alternating one-way traffic will be between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am each night. Motorists using the Spaulding Turnpike in this area during these nighttime hours can expect minor delays as traffic is briefly stopped for the short alternating one-way section. The Exit 15 southbound off-ramp will be closed the nights of Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24. During the Exit 15 southbound off-ramp closure signs will be in place to direct traffic to use the Exit 14 southbound off-ramp. This work is part of the overall expansion and widening of the Spaulding Turnpike from Exit 12 to Exit 16 around Rochester. The general contractor for this segment of the project is Severino Construction of Candia, New Hampshire.
