| Night Work To Begin On I-93 Southbound In Windham Between Weigh Station And Exit 3
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that sections of I-93 southbound between the weigh station and Exit 3 in Windham will be reduced to one travel lane during weekday nighttime hours (7:00pm to 5:00am) beginning Monday, September 14, 2009 and continuing for four weeks. Motorists using I-93 Southbound in this area during these nighttime hours can expect minor delays as traffic reduces to one lane through the work zone. Exit 3 on and off ramps will not be impacted by the lane closure. This work will reconstruct the low speed shoulder in preparation for shifting traffic as part of the Salem-Manchester I-93 widening project. The general contractor for this segment of the project is George Cairns and Sons from Windham, New Hampshire. |
