BRIDGE REPAIRS AND LANE RESTRICTIONS ON I-93 NORTHBOUND IN BOW The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge deck repairs will be performed at the northbound I-93 bridge over I-89 in Bow. The work will require daytime lane closures and is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 6, 2001. A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew will restrict traffic on the bridge to a single 14-foot wide lane in order to accomplish this work. The lane closure will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. and last until approximately 3:00 p.m. for five workdays or until the repairs are complete. Lane closures may also be needed on I-89 below the bridges as well. Plans are to use advanced warning signs, arrow boards, and State Police to guide vehicles through the work area. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable workday. Motorists traveling on I-93 and I-89 in Bow are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected. |
