BRIDGE WASHING AND LANE RESTRICTIONS IN MANCHESTER
AMOSKEAG ST. AND WESTBOUND RTE. 101 OVER EVERETT TURNPIKE

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge washing work on Amoskeag Street and Route 101 westbound in Manchester will require nighttime lane closures from the evening of Tuesday July 31, 2001 through early Wednesday morning (8/1/01).

A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew will restrict traffic on Amoskeag Street to one lane traffic and reduce the number of lanes on 101 westbound over the F.E. Everett Turnpike. The lane closures will begin at approximately 11:00 p.m. and last until approximately 5:00 a.m.

Plans are to use advanced warning signs, arrow boards, and cones to guide vehicles through the work area. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on Amoskeag Street and 101 westbound are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected.
