The New Hampshire Department of Transportation and the City of Concord announce that bridge deck repairs are underway at the bridge over the Merrimack River on Sewalls Falls Road in Concord. This work requires single lane daytime traffic at the bridge.

A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew is restricting traffic on the bridge to a single 12-foot wide lane during daytime work hours. The restriction is expected to continue approximately six weeks until the work is complete.

Signs, cones, and flag persons are being used to guide vehicles through the work area. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on Sewalls Falls Road in Concord are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected.
