BRIDGE DECK REPAIRS ON I-93 SOUTHBOUND IN HOOKSETT
WORK ON BRIDGE OVER I-293 WILL REQUIRE LANE CLOSURES

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge deck repairs are scheduled to begin June 26 at the I-93 southbound bridge over the I-293 in Hooksett. This work will require daytime lane closures.

A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew will restrict traffic on the three-lane bridge to a 14-foot wide single lane in order to accomplish this work, beginning Tuesday, June 26. The lane closures will begin at approximately 8:30 a.m. and last until approximately 3:00 p.m. each workday for approximately three days.

Following this phase, work will continue at the bridge that will maintain two open traffic lanes. The lane closures will be in effect each workday for approximately two weeks, until the work is complete.

Plans are to use cones, advanced warning signs, arrow boards and State Police to guide vehicles through the work area. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on I-93 in Hooksett are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected.
