CONCORD BRIDGE REPAIRS WILL REQUIRE I-93 LANE CLOSURE FAN ROAD BRIDGE OVER I-93 NORTHBOUND

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge repairs will take place on the Fan Road bridge over I-93 in Concord, just north of Exit 15. This work will require a daytime lane closure on I-93 northbound and is scheduled to begin Monday, December 11, 2000.

A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew will restrict traffic on I-93 northbound to a single lane during daytime work hours starting December 11. Southbound traffic on I-93 should not be affected.

The lane closure will take place daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is expected to continue approximately five days until the work is complete. Plans are to use arrow boards, signs, and cones to guide vehicles through the work area. State Police will also provide traffic control assistance.

In the event of adverse weather, the start of work may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on I-93 northbound in Concord are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be encountered.
