The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that bridge deck repairs will take place on the Parade Road bridge over the Suncook River in Barnstead.

The work will require single lane traffic that is scheduled to begin Tuesday, December 5, 2000. The restriction is expected to continue approximately five months until the work is complete.

Plans are to use stop and yield signs, barrels, and concrete barriers to guide vehicles through the work area. In the event of adverse weather, the start of the lane restriction may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on Parade Road in Barnstead are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected.
