BRIDGE REPAIRS AND TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
SALEM TO LONDONDERRY ON I-93

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that bridge deck repairs requiring single lane traffic will be made to various northbound and southbound bridges on I-93 from Salem to Londonderry. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, November 27, 2000 and last approximately two weeks.

A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew will restrict traffic to a 14-foot wide single lane at certain bridges on I-93 starting November 27. The lane closures are scheduled to take place each workday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Traffic control may also be necessary on the roadways below the bridges.

Plans are to use advanced warning signs, changeable message signs, arrow boards, and State Police to guide vehicles through the single lane work. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on I-93 between Salem and Londonderry are asked to reduce speed and use caution when driving through the work area, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays should be expected.
