NEW CONNECTOR RAMPS LINKING EXITS 1 AND 2 TO OPEN TOMORROW ON EVERETT TURNPIKE IN NASHUA The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the newly constructed connector ramps between Exit 1 and Exit 2 of the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua will be open to traffic tomorrow afternoon (11/15/2000). With the opening of the connector ramps, northbound motorists entering the Everett Turnpike at Exit 1 will be able to access NH Route 3A in Hudson or the Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua. Motorists traveling from Hudson and entering the Everett Turnpike will now have the option of exiting at Spit Brook Road. Construction work on the project will continue and motorists can expect daytime lane closures. Audley Construction, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $2.8 million project, which also includes sound wall work. The final completion date is July 1, 2001. |
