ROLLINSFORD BRIDGE TO BE CLOSED FOR FIVE DAYS
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the Rollins Road Bridge over Main Street and the railroad in Rollinsford will be closed for five days to allow for the changeover alignment to the new bridge. Beginning Monday, November 6, the Rollins Road Bridge will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles through Friday, November 10, 2000. Detour signs will be in place directing traffic to alternative routes. Traffic will be allowed to cross the new Rollins Road Bridge at the end of the workday on November 10. Reed and Reed Inc., of Woolwich, Maine, is the general contractor for the $2.65 million bridge replacement project. The final completion date is June 1, 2001. |
