RAMP CLOSURES TO ALLOW FOR PAVING AT I-93 EXIT 16 PROJECT IN CONCORD
Work Scheduled For September 8 and 9

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces scheduled final paving work at the reconstructed I-93 Exit 16 interchange in Concord will require ramp closures this week. Each ramp closure is expected to last no longer than four hours.

On Friday, September 8, the Exit 16 northbound on-ramp will be closed to traffic at 7:00 am, and the Exit 16 northbound off-ramp will be closed sometime after 9:00 am.

On Saturday, September 9, the Exit 16 southbound on-ramp will be closed to traffic at 7:00 am, and the southbound off-ramp will be closed sometime after 9:00 am.

Variable message boards, signs and uniformed officers will be used to alert motorists to the ramp closures.

R.S. Audley Construction, Inc., of Bow, New Hampshire, is the general contractor for the $5,054,880 project, which includes the interchange reconstruction and a new bridge over I-93. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 1, 2000.
