| NO HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION WORK ON LABOR DAY The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces all field construction work will be suspended on Monday, September 4, 2000. Construction operations throughout the Labor Day Weekend will be scheduled to avoid conflict with increased traffic volumes from Friday afternoon, September 1, through Tuesday morning, September 5. Last year the New Hampshire Turnpike System saw 1,187,902 vehicles pass through toll facilities during the four day Labor Day Weekend period. |
