The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces maintenance sweeping and washing will be performed at various bridges on I-293 northbound and southbound in Manchester. The work is scheduled to take place Thursday night August 31 through Friday morning September 1.

A New Hampshire Department of Transportation crew will restrict traffic to a single lane at various bridges on and over I-293 NB and SB in Manchester from Exit 4 to Exit 6 in order to accomplish this work. The lane closures will begin at approximately 11:00 p.m. and last until approximately 5:00 a.m. Plans are to use advanced warning signs, arrow boards, and State Police to guide vehicles through the work area. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable work night.

Motorists traveling on I-293 in the Manchester are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be encountered.
