The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge maintenance sweeping and washing will be performed this week on Interstate 93 between Salem and Manchester.

This work is scheduled to take place Thursday night, August 17, through Friday morning, August 18.

Lane closures will be in effect at various northbound and southbound locations from Exit 2 to Exit 5 between 10:00 pm Thursday and 5:00 am Friday in order to accomplish the work. Advanced warning signs, arrow boards and State Police will be used to guide vehicles through the work area.

Motorists traveling on I-93 in the Salem to Manchester area are asked to use caution when driving the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be encountered.

In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable work night.
