The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge maintenance sweeping and washing will be performed this week on the northbound and southbound Spaulding Turnpike Bridges over Little Bay in Dover.

This work is scheduled to take place Thursday night, August 17, through Friday morning, August 18.

Traffic on the northbound and southbound bridges will be restricted to a single lane from 11:00 pm Thursday until approximately 6:00 am Friday in order to accomplish this work. Advanced warning signs, arrow boards and State Police will be used to guide vehicles through the work area.

Motorists traveling on the Spaulding Turnpike in the Dover area are asked to use caution when driving the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected. In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable work night.
