NASHUA PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING TO DISCUSS THE PROPOSED BROAD STREET PARKWAY The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting will be held Thursday, August 24, 2000 in Nashua to discuss the proposed construction of the Broad Street Parkway. The Broad Street Parkway is proposed to run from the Broad Street/Blue Hill Avenue intersection to West Hollis Street with a new bridge crossing over the Nashua River. It also includes modifications to Sargent Avenue Extension to include bridges over Prescott Street, the railroad, and the parkway, and changes in traffic circulation at Ledge Street at Patten Court to Everett Street. The August 24 meeting to display the current concept and to obtain input will be held at Nashua City Hall, 229 Main Street in Nashua, NH. Plans will be available for viewing at 6:30 pm. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm. |
