The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that night maintenance sweeping and washing will be performed on the southbound Spaulding Turnpike bridge over Little Bay in Dover.

This work is scheduled to take place from approximately 11:00 pm on Thursday, August 10 until 6:00 am on Friday, August 11. During the work hours, traffic on the southbound bridge will be restricted to a single lane. Advanced warning signs, arrow boards and State Police will be used to guide vehicles through the work area.

Motorists traveling on the Spaulding Turnpike in the Dover area are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone, as workers and equipment will be present. Minor delays may be expected.

In the event of adverse weather, work may be delayed until the next suitable work night.
