The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge repair work will take place Thursday, July 6, 2000 at the NH Route 132 (Park Street) bridge over the Winnipesaukee River at the Northfield-Tilton town line.

This bridge repair project will require a short-term detour for northbound traffic. Vehicles heading northbound towards the bridge on NH 132 will be detoured around the site via Elm Street and Bridge Street from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. Southbound traffic on the bridge will be restricted to a single 11-foot wide lane.

Uniformed officers, signs, and cones will be used to guide vehicles through and around the work area. In the event of adverse weather, the work may be delayed until the next suitable workday.

Motorists traveling on NH Route 132 in the Northfield-Tilton area are asked to use caution when driving through the work zone. Minor delays may be encountered.
