|Roxbury - Sullivan Public Informational Meeting
Improvements to Two Mile Section of NH Route 9
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2014 to discuss improvements to approximately two miles of NH Route 9, from Houghton Ledge Road in Roxbury to Centre Street in Sullivan.
This project would include replacement of the bridge over Otter Brook and rehabilitation of the bridge over Hubbard Brook. This meeting is a follow up to the meeting held on June 6, 2013. This project will have an effect on historic properties.
The April 10th public meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm at the Sullivan Town Hall, 452 Centre Street in Sullivan, New Hampshire.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
