I-95 Bridge Project over the Taylor River
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2014 to update the Towns of Hampton and Hampton Falls on the current project status of the Taylor River Bridge project. This project proposes to replace the red listed bridge that carries I-95 over the Taylor River.
The April 9th public meeting for the bridge replacement project will be held at the Hampton Falls Selectmen’s Meeting Room, 1 Drinkwater Road in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for viewing and discussion prior to the formal presentation at 7:00 pm.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
