The
earthworks wizard is used to determine the slope limits for the selected
design alternative. It is an alternative to the macros previously used. Start
earthworks wizard (Design -> Earthworks Wizard...).
Enter string information and select Next>
to get to the Assign Earthwork Style and Strategy panel.
For each of the 4 earthwork zones (cut left, cut
right, fill left, and fill right), select the upper style navigator for single
strategy applications. Or select the Alternative Strategy navigator
for compound strategy applications.
Although cut styles currently exist, they do not
work as they should. Infrasoft is aware of the problem and is looking into it.
Until that is resolved, the alternative slope criteria should be used for cut
sections as well as fills.
Select the 
button next to Alternative Strategy. Alternative strategy components must be
previously defined and can be customized for each project if necessary. See MX Earthworks - Alternative Strategies
