PBRK Strings

The PBRK string is a point string containing only null elevation points and given the name PBRK.  Normally, null elevation points are ignored during the building of a triangulation, but the points of the PBRK string are included in the calculation process.

Prior to generating a triangulation, an area of a model can be excluded from subsequent analysis such as contours by use of a PBRK string.  The PBRK string is provided specifically for this purpose.  Any resulting triangles which have a null elevation at one or more vertices are excluded for the purpose of subsequent analysis of contours, flow arrows etc.  Therefore the inside of a building can be excluded by the inclusion of a single PBRK string point near the buildings centroid.
