The MDL dialog box opens. 4. From the Available Applications, select RSCRENUM. 5. Click Load. Using Resource Renumbering This functionality allows site administrators to release site customizations to their users without fear of conflicting with any of their user's customizations. Without this utility, their UIs need to be re-created from scratch or the resources renumbered one at a time. Renumbering site resources 1. Set THE _USTN_CUSTOMIZEBASEID to 2000, and load rscrenum.ma. The Renumber Custom Interface Resources dialog box opens. 2. Select the resource to renumber and click OK (by default, Tool Boxes, Tool Frames, and Tools are selected). The site resources are renumbered 3. Set the _USTN _CUSTOMIZEBASEID on your user's machines to 5000. 4. Have your user's load rscrenum.ma. Your user's resources are renumbered. In this way, the site administrator can be confident that any resources he creates with an ID >2000 AND <5000 will not be overwritten by a user modification. Should he decide he needs more IDs, he can simply adjust the BASEIDs and run rscrenum again. Key-in: RSCRENUM RENUMBER
