| Placing
Cells By Stadia in 2D MicroStation |
- From the Element menu, select Cells.
- Select File from the Cell library window.
- Select the desired Cell library.
- Highlight the desired Cell and hit the placement button.
- Select Place Active Cell.
- Activate Accudraw and toggle to Polar Format (spacebar).
- Issue a Tentative Snap at the Transit Set-Up.
- Type <O> to move the drawing plane origin to the current pointer
position.
- Type <R><A> to Define ACS by Points.
- Define X Axis Origin (The Transit Set-Up)
- Define X Axis (The Back Sight)
- Type <W><A> to Write to ACS.
- Supply an ACS name and hit OK.
- With Place Active Cell and Accudraw Still active.
- Enter the Stadia distance in Accudraw.
- Enter the Stadia angle in Accudraw and accept.
- To select a different Cell type, rerun steps #2 thru #4
- To Place another cell, type <G><A> to Get ACS, select OK
and go to step #11
- To begin a new Transit Set-Up, go to step #6
- To stop placing Cells, issue a Reset.
