- Define the area to plot with a fence.
- Click on the Print icon in MicroStation.
- Select Fence from the Entity pull-down menu. This will prevent
MicroStation from plotting any additional area that it would otherwise plot if
it were to use the default plot limit of the View.
- Select the Plotter Driver icon.
- Select OceRoll.plt from the list of drivers, then OK.
- Select the Page Setup icon and set the page size to Roll, then OK.
- Select the Plot Layout icon.
- Note the first Scale to value. MicroStation defaults to plotting at a
scale of 100% of normal (it will cover as much of the paper as possible with the
fenced elements).
- Change the second Scale to box to a desired scale factor, use the
following scale factors:
| |
Design Scale |
"Scale to" Factor |

1:250 |
6.35 m/in |

1:500 |
12.7 m/in |

1:600 |

1:1000 |
25.4 m/in |

|
Imperial |
20 scale, 1:240 |
20 ft/in |
| |
50 scale, 1:600 |
50 ft/in |
Note that MicroStation will accept this Scale to factor only if you
are increasing the default factor. This will automatically reduce the plotting
scale shown in the first Scale to box to a value less than 100%. If not,
then either plot to a larger scale (with a different scale factor), or redefine
your fence to a narrower region.
- Select OK.
- Select the Plot icon
