Recent additions include...
This area contains the documentation for the Department's Computer Aided Drafting/Design (CAD/D) system. If you don't find what you need or you encounter broken links, please use the contact form at the bottom of the page to let us know.
The CAD/D section has two primary functions: supporting and training the Department's MicroStation and MX users, and providing project visualization and photo rendering services. Samples of the rendering projects can be seen here.
| January 10 | For MX v8i users, the XS-MS drawing macro no longer utilizes/recognize the scale variables HS & VS. Cross Section scale is now controlled in the Project Configuration File. This allows v8 drawing input files to function unchanged in v8i. |
| January 5, 2012 | Documentation for generating alignment drawings in v8i has been updated to reflect recent updates. The Welcome to MXi page has also been updated to reflect those changes. |
| December 1 | Introducing the new MX *.MMD files for MX users that are on Windows 7. Continue using the regular *.MMD for MX v8. Use the v8i version if you have MX v8i and are running Windows XP. Use the Seven version if you running Windows 7. |
| November 30 | Not new but re-posted, check out MX's Cross Slope Checker. |
| October 26 | New for PWT task list, Erosion Control Linestyles, Erosionlegend cell and a Strategies sheet have been created. |
| October 4 | Introducing an MX model standard for Preliminary Proposed Contours called PCONTOURS. Refer to Model Names for MX for all MX model naming standards. |
