This area contains the documentation for the Department's Computer Aided Drafting/Design (CAD/D) system. If you don't find what you need or you encounter broken links, please use the contact form at the bottom of the page to let us know.
The CAD/D section has two primary functions: supporting and training the Department's MicroStation and MX users, and providing project visualization and photo rendering services. Samples of the rendering projects can be seen here.
|October 2||For our consultant friends, the zip file containing MicroStation workspace files has been updated to include the items mentioned in the September 11th update below. Go to the download page to obtain the updated files.|
|September 11||Updates to border cells, pen table, filters, tasks and Print Organizer Documentation for automatic sheet numbering and Final POP PDF creation. Other general dgnlib updates include arrow head sizes for dimension on TYP tasks as well as creation of 8.5 x 11 typical tasks. New cells for ITS, Revision after Proposal Stamp, Mile Markers and others.|
|August 6||Unless you're leaving, you will need to learn Bentley's new OpenRoad technology for civil road design. For those who already have SELECT series 2 installed on your workstation, you may begin with the Civil Horizontal Geometry training video. In addition are demo videos from the 2013 Bentley LEARNing Conference, find them at MX Training.|
|May 20||The MicroStation v8i workspace download has been updated. There have been updates to many dgnlib files along with some other minor updates since the file was last posted in March.|
